The Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association was founded in 1877 when 40 cattlemen joined together out of their common interest to end livestock theft. TSCRA Special Rangers became peace officers in 1893. The vigilance of these special rangers has led them to be compared with the Texas Rangers, Scotland Yard, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

More than a century later, TSCRA has special rangers stationed throughout Texas and Oklahoma to assist in recovering stolen livestock and equipment and apprehending the thieves.

Since 1914 the association has published The Cattleman magazine, one of the nation's most respected and quoted livestock trade journals.

We manufacture our Old West replica badges out of brass and steel. They are double-stamped then silver plated. Next, each badge is individually hand finished for a unique antique look.
