Guard Santa Fe Railroad Badge
Guard Santa Fe Railroad Badge story inside the box:By 1860 there were 30,626 miles of railroad in the United States -- more than three times the mileage than existed just 10 years before. Theft was rampant and the losses in dollars of freight, parcels and luggage were overwhelming to the railroad companies. Railway companies, left to protect themselves, contracted railroad policemen. Two of the most famous Special Agents hired to protect the railroads were Bat Masterson and Allen Pinkerton.
We manufacture our Old West replica badges out of brass and steel. They are double-stamped then silver plated. Next, each badge is individually hand finished for a unique antique look.
FREE with every badge: an old-fashioned style Kraft box with a story about the badge inside the lid.
